Chernobyl Structures | The Unbuilt and the Forgotten

​​​​​​​This series documents the industrial remnants surrounding the unfinished Reactor No. 5 in the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. The first image captures a haunting arrangement of discarded concrete panels and corrugated elements—materials once destined to become part of a nuclear dream that never materialized. The second photograph shows the silent presence of a cooling tower, surrounded by overgrown vegetation reclaiming its space. These structures, suspended in time, speak of halted ambition and the quiet, persistent power of nature to erase and recompose human intention.
